TESOL Instructor Training
The Royal Byng College TESOL 120 Advanced Program is a teacher-training program for those wishing to pursue a career in language teaching either in Canada or internationally. The program may be taken either in-class and online.
English as a Second Language Program
Royal Byng’s English as a Second Language Programs are a set of seven, four-week, daily courses designed to serve students varying in proficiency level from Starter/Zero Beginner to High Advanced/Professional User level.
Corporate Training
Royal Byng College offers a variety of contract corporate training services tailored to the needs of the local business community. Whether you want to improve the level of English used at the job site, wish to train your English-speaking employees to work in Mandarin Chinese or wish to offer Professional Development to your workforce, Royal Byng is equipped to supply that need.
Young Learners
Royal Byng’s young learner programs, for students 18 and under, are focused on students attaining the maximum level of academic success, achieving their educational goals and gaining entrance to the university or other post-secondary school of their choice.

Our Methodology
All lessons taught at Royal Byng College are designed to promote Critical Thinking Skills in learners. We don’t simply ask learners to master questions like Who, What, When and Where by memorizing facts; we encourage them to construct a greater understanding of knowledge through more detailed inquiry into the How and Why of what they are learning. Critical Thinking is an essential academic skill that is absolutely necessary for students to succeed at the secondary school or university level anywhere in North America or around the world.
Our Mission & Vision
Royal Byng College is committed to helping students all ages, from young learners to adults, achieve their academic, life and career goals with a variety of programs ranging from ESL programs and career training to exam preparation programs and personalized tutoring options for K – 12 students designed to help them function efficiently and understand more in school. Students seeking better scores on proficiency or entrance exams in order to obtain entrance to the university of their choice will find specialists in such tests as the TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, Cambridge Certificate exams and SAT available for one-to-one personal instruction.
