Class Types
All young learner lessons taught at Royal Byng College are designed to promote Critical Thinking Skills in learners. We don’t
simply ask learners to master questions like Who, What, When and Where by memorizing facts; we encourage them to
construct a greater understanding of knowledge through more detailed inquiry into the How and Why of what they are
learning. Critical Thinking is an essential academic skill that is absolutely necessary for students to succeed at the secondary
school or university level anywhere in North America or around the world.

VIP Classes
Our most popular class type for young learners, this is a one-to-one class designed specifically for each learner, focusing
completely on their needs and proceeding at a pace that is comfortable for the student. In VIP classes you have the complete
attention of the teacher, the class is created entirely for you, tailored to your needs, highly responsive to your changing
requirements on a moment-to-moment basis and directed precisely towards your learning goals and outcomes.

One-to-Two Classes
Study with your friend of sibling and receive a learning experience similar to our VIP classes but with a more interactive
element that encourages critical thinking while at the same time focusing on mastery of subject knowledge.

Group Classes
Group classes are highly interactive, creative sessions concentrating on Discovery Learning as well as mastery of language
and subject knowledge and using a combination of group and individual work to create a stimulating and enriching learning
environment.
